V076: SPHENOID SINUSITIS WITH INTRACRANIAL EXTENSION MANAGED VIA ENDOSCOPIC ENDONASAL TRANSSPHENOIDAL AND TRANSPTERYGOID APPROACH IN AN 11 YEAR OLD

We present the case of a 11 year old female with sphenoid sinusitis and extradural empyema of the left middle cranial fossa. The patient presented complaining of progressive headaches and fever for three days. On examination they had reduced sensation over left V1 and V2. The patient underwent an endoscopic transsphenoidal and transpterygoid approach to drain the collections, which was completed without complication. The patient made a complete recovery.
