We present a video case of a patient who presented with symptomatic jugular foramen schwannoma. Given that the tumor expanded jugular foramen without significant intradural extension into the posterior fossa and a presumed medial relation with the lower cranial nerves we felt that EEA would provide a direct access without any manipulation of brain or cranial nerves. A complete resection was accomplished through EEA transpterygoid sublacerum and contralateral transmaxillary approach. The pathology demonstrated schwannoma.
