V134: OPTIC APPARATUS DECOMPRESSION OF EXCESSIVE SUPRASELLAR PACKING - OPERATIVE VIDEO

Both sphenopalatine arteries were sacrificed from previous procedure. Sphenoid mucosa peeled. Sphenoidotomy was expanded. Thick dural substitute material identified and carefully dissected. No obvious residual tumor identified. Tuberculum is drilled and suprasellar dura opened. Extensive suprasellar dural substitute material used in prior surgery identified compression the right optic nerve and chiasm. Gently dissected and peeled. Closure with abdominal fat.
