Anatomical Dissection Laboratory
A recently renovated state-of-the art temporal bone microsurgical laboratory is available for use with 24/7 access. Access is also available to the neighboring Goodyear Microsurgical Laboratory in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Laboratory Research Opportunities
Research is emphasized, with abundant basic science, clinical, and translational research opportunities available. There are numerous opportunities for collaboration, including at the School of Medicine, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the College of Engineering & Applied Science, and the adjacent University of Cincinnati main campus.

Additional Features of the Fellowship
This is a 2 year ACGME accredited neurotology/skull base surgery fellowship. Fellows will become proficient treating diverse pathology of the lateral skull base, including removal of CPA/IAC tumors
through all neurotologic approaches (middle fossa, translabyrinthine, retrosigmoid). Fellows will work at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, UC Health West Chester Hospital, VA Cincinnati
Center, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. There may also be opportunities for international missions.
