This session will detail the use of proton vs photon radiation therapy for Anterior Skull Base Pathologies. Illustrative cases will be discussed to help attendees which modality is more appropriate when radiation therapy is needed.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify the differences between proton and photon therapy.
- Recognize when proton therapy may be an appropriate treatment.
- Categorize the risks and benefits of both modalities of radiation treatment.
