The session focuses on endovascular interventions and diagnostic testing that can assist skull base surgeons. It also endeavors to look at novel therapies for CSF leak and prophylactic management of challenging head and neck tumors.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Use balloon test occlusion and preoperative embolization in surgical skull base management.
- Recognize situations where endovascular solutions may help surgical approaches and vascular injury.
- Integrate venous stenting in practice for patients with encephaloceles and CSF leaks.
